This class allowed me to better understand the importance of ecosystem protection, and taught me how to design and manage a marine protected area/reserve to both improve conservation and human satisfaction.

Learning more about how people identify and the impact of feminism on society over the years allowed me to become a more aware global citizen.
AMH 2020 / American History Since 1877
Discovering how my now home country came to be what it is, was possible due to this class. I participated in debates, interactive talks and presentations that made me more eager about American history.
REL 2011 / Intro to Religion
This class increased my awareness around culture, specifically religious cultures, and allowed me to explore religions beyond my own. I studied judaism by interviewing practicians of the religion and visited temples in Miami.
EVR 1017 / Global Environment & Society
This introductory course taught me to critically analyze the role of human beings in the planet, and question how my actions impact climate change. I presented various papers that revise important climate events over the decades.
